2024 – 2025 Admission Timeline
Earliest date for submission of application to the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS).
Mid-July 2024:
The earliest date to be invited to complete the secondary application. The secondary application and letters of recommendation are required for consideration to be interviewed.
July 31, 2024:
The earliest date to be invited to interview.
September 2024 to February 2025:
Virtual interviews will be offered a few times each week. Once invited for an interview, you can schedule your virtual interview day.
November 1, 2024: Last Day to Apply!
Latest date for submission of application at AMCAS.
November 15, 2024:
Last date for official transcripts to arrive at AMCAS.
November 17, 2024:
VU secondary application deadline. Submitting applications late in the admissions season may compromise opportunities for a position at this school. It is important for applicants to realize that early completion of the final application may increase the likelihood of admission and merit-based scholarships.
Mid-December 2024:
The first wave of admission offers will be communicated via phone and email.
The second wave of admission offers will be communicated via phone and email.
Early March 2025:
The third wave of admission offers will be communicated via phone and email.
April 2025:
April 30, 2025:
Last date to confirm acceptance of admission offer.
When will I hear from Vanderbilt?
For the 2024-2025 admissions cycle, we will be releasing decisions in two waves:
Accepted students will receive their admission offer via phone call and will also receive a letter via email.
